Whether you like being outdoors or interacting with guests, this is the job for you. The Huntington Fox Fire KOA Holiday is located in the Wild & Wonderful state of West Virginia. The Huntington Fox Fire KOA Holiday is an award-winning campground that offers some of the best southern hospitality around. Our campground offers a variety of amenities including a swimming lake, multiple fishing ponds, cable TV, & 5G wireless internet access. We are looking for those who are guest oriented, energetic, and enthusiasitc, and who have a strong desire to serve excellent customer service to our guests. Our goal is to create a family fun and welcoming environment. As a guest service representitive your primary responsibility is to provide quality customer service to all campground guests as they complete their registraion and arrival to their site as well as while they are out on the campground.
Summer is definitely our busy season.. We keep a staff of three "teams" (two people) working the front desk & escorting guests to their site. What we are in need of in a team is one person inside working the front desk and the other is outside on a golf cart taking campers to their site and helping with the outside duties. In the office, you are responsible for answering the phones, using the K2 system (easily taught) for reservations and purchases in the store. The registration office is also the campground store with some drinks, food, and souvenirs. The person outside is responsible for taking guests to their site after they register in the office, making sure they are parked correctly on the correct site, helping them locate all hookups on the site, occasionally delivering ice or firewood to the campers, picking up trash around the park, and filling propane. There may be the occasional minor maintenance project that we would ask the outside staff to help with as well as changing electrical breakers on the pedestals if they feel comfortable.
The working hours will be the same each week. We set a schedule at the beginning of the summer & we keep it the same the entire season. However, we are truly a family campground so we know things come up and are always willing to work around things. We have never had issues with people trading shifts to keep everything covered if people need to go anywhere. We keep each team or couple working the same shifts so that you also have the same days off. We ask you to work 5 days and have 2 consecutive days off so it is 30 hours a week per person.
